Project Details

This 2017 Audi Q7 arrived with a loud whistling coming from the crankcase vent valve (PCV) and a noticeable coolant leak. Our team quickly diagnosed the PCV as the source of the whistle, while a cooling system pressure test pinpointed the thermostat housing and water pump as the culprits for the leak. We also discovered coolant leaking from the supercharger manifold pipe. To address both the original and related issues, we replaced the PCV and associated components including fuel injector o rings, breather hoses, and intake gaskets along with the thermostat housing, water pump, and manifold gaskets. The coolant system was fully flushed and refilled, and we performed a fresh oil change and spark plug replacement for added reliability.
